Windemere at Bay Shore

If you’re looking for a gated community in Bay Shore Long Island, Windemere is a townhouse community run by a homeowner’s association that may be right for you.

Windemere was built in the 1980’s and 1990’s in Suffolk County by Route 27 A Montauk Highway East and Awixa Avenue.  This is a 24 hour guard gated community in the Bay Shore School District #1.  This pet friendly community offers the homeowners a clubhhouse, tennis, fitness room, and pool.  The landscaping and snow removal is covered in the common charges.  These are townhouse designs with some units that have master bedrooms on the main level.

The community is surrounded by Lakeside Lane, Doral, Cedar Ridge, Pleasant, Oakmont, and Swan Ct.  Windemere are attached units in groupings with a garage, central air conditioning, gas heat, and backyard patios.  According to public records of the multiple listing service, townhouses at Windemere in Bay Shore had sales in 2008 between $395,000 to $550,000.
