In 2008, 170 homes sold and closed in Smithtown. There were also 37 condos and 4 co-ops that sold in The Smithtown School District #1. Houses sold between $278,100 for a 2 bedroom 1 bath Ranch style home with no garage to $1,840,000 for a 5 bedroom 4.5 bath Post Modern style home with a 3 car garage.  Condos went from $315,000 for a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath unit to $615,000 for a 3bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse. Co-ops in Smithtown sold from $175,000 to $210,000.

As you can see, Smithtown is a community with starter, mid-size, and luxury homes. Keep in mind, a sold price may not reflect current market conditions or home values.
