  Sunken Ponds At Riverhead was opened in 2005 and is an active retirement community.  Sunken Ponds can be reached  by The Long Island Expressway Exit 73 following Route 58E.  This active adult community of 192 condos is a pet friendly complex where condos range in size from 1300  to 16oo sq ft.  This is a gated 55 and over active retirement community offerig a clubhouse, pool, gym, and bocci.  Plus you can relax while the lawns are maintained and snow is removed for you. These are attached ranch style designs and also units with upper levelor lower level living spaces.  All have 2 bedrooms with 2 baths or 2.5 baths, and some have basements.  To give you an idea of what a condo at Sunker Ponds may cost, according to public records for 2008, condominiums at Sunken Ponds had sales from $310,000 to $419,000.
